My name is Claire Benadé and I am a Registered Social Worker servicing Airdrie and surrounding area with experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, financial and work stress, and family dynamics as well as working with individuals on sexual orientation and gender identity. As a member of the University of Calgary Rowing Team in both my undergraduate and graduate studies I also have a passion for working with sports related issues.

My work focuses around a client-centered, trauma-informed approach and I use a variety of modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Play-based therapy techniques. I believe that having core competencies allows me to do my best work, while having a range of techniques allows me to find the best suited approach for each individual/family.
